Familiarization Visit by the Borno State House of Assembly to Borno State Education Trust Fund

Today, 20th August 2025, the Borno State Education Trust Fund (BSETF) had the honor of receiving a familiarization visit from members of the Borno State House of Assembly, led by the Chairman House Committee on Public Account, Hon. Pogu Lawan, alongside Hon. Mohammed Gambomi Marte, Hon. Malami Wakil Korede, Hon. Baba Shehu M. Baba, and Hon. Ibrahim A. Hassan.

The visiting delegation was warmly welcomed by the Executive Secretary, Hon. (Dr) Maina Yaumi, who gave a comprehensive briefing on the history of the Education Trust Fund, its mandates, sources of funding, and the measures put in place to ensure transparency and accountability in the management of resources.

The session featured an engaging interactive discussion, where critical issues around education funding and sustainability were deliberated upon.

The visit concluded with a group photograph, symbolizing the cordial working relationship between the Borno State House of Assembly and the Borno State Education Trust Fund, towards strengthening education in Borno State.
