Borno State Education Trust Fund Team Visits Government Secondary School, Gubio LGA.

On 26th June, 2024, a delegation from the Borno State Education Trust Fund (BSETF) carried out an inspection visit to Government Secondary School, Gubio, in Gubio Local Government Area, as part of its ongoing commitment to improving educational infrastructure across the state.

Leading the team was the Executive Secretary, Hon. (Dr) Maina Yaumi, accompanied by:

• Abba Kurama Umar, Director, Planning, Research & Statistics

• Mustapha M. Bulu, Director, Finance & Accounts

• Haruna Aji Mohammed, ICT Officer

• A dedicated team of Engineers from the ETF

During the visit, the team assessed the school’s infrastructure, teaching facilities, and overall learning environment. The purpose of the inspection was to identify key areas in need of intervention and to ensure ongoing support aligns with the state’s strategic vision for education.

The Executive Secretary reaffirmed the ETF’s dedication to bridging gaps in educational infrastructure and improving learning outcomes, especially in rural and underserved communities like Gubio.
