Borno State Education Trust Fund Commissions New Government Boys Day Secondary School in Zajiri

On 12th October 2023, a new chapter in education was marked as the Borno State Education Trust Fund officially commissioned and handed over the newly constructed Government Boys Day Secondary School in Zajiri, Maiduguri, to the Ministry of Education.

This state-of-the-art facility is set to serve as a major milestone in the development of secondary education in the region, offering a modern learning environment for the next generation of students. The school features:

• Two (2) units of two-storey blocks with a total of 30 classrooms

• A well-equipped administrative block

• Concrete interlocking for better accessibility and provision of trees and flowers to enhance the environment

• Two (2) units of 4-compartment VIP toilets for improved sanitation

• A perimeter fence to ensure security and safety for students

The furnishing of the new administrative block adds a professional touch to the space, making it a fully functional institution for students and staff alike.

This project, located behind Texaco Timber Market, Maiduguri, is a clear reflection of the state's commitment to improving the quality of education and providing accessible infrastructure to students in every corner of Borno.
